Richard M. Batenburg Jr. is appointed Chief Executive Officer

DENVER — (September 19, 2022) — Clear Cannabis Inc. (CCI), national licensor of legacy cannabis brand The Clear™, today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Richard M. Batenburg Jr., current Chairman of the Board, as Chief Executive Officer, and President, effective August 22, 2022. Batenburg succeeds Tom Brooksher, who will retire August 31, 2022.

Richard Batenburg Jr. is the founder of Clear Cannabis Inc. and has served as Chairman of the Board since inception and has worked closely with the company’s management team in Clear Cannabis Inc. expanding its industry-leading cannabis brand, The Clear™ to distribution in its ninth cannabis legal state. Throughout his 40-year professional career, Batenburg has held numerous executive leadership positions across various cannabis and investment organizations surrounding Clear Cannabis Inc’s family of products, including Clear Colorado Group, Cliintel Capital Management Group and Bonsai Cultivation.

Over the years, Clear Cannabis Inc. has developed, grown and expanded its product suite from premier vaporization products which include a series of proprietary formulations used in connection with the manufacturing of marijuana and hemp-based CBD products. As chief executive officer of Clear Cannabis Inc. Batenburg will oversee the continued expansion of the product lines, extension of same and expansion of its licensing program providing its unique “consumer packaged goods” approach to the cannabis marketplace.  Current lines include The Clear™ Concentrate vapes; The Clear™ CBD line of topicals; TWAX the infused pre-roll cannabis flower, ENDO the enhanced live resin vape cartridge; and The Clear Dripcees™ the company’s new fast-acting gummies.

In addition to the company’s chief executive transition, Clear Cannabis Inc. has appointed several other internal company members to new positions. Rebecca Maestas Sincere, former Executive Director of Marketing of the company, has been appointed to Vice President of Marketing where she will utilize her 13 years of in-depth experience to continue overseeing the brand evolution for Clear Cannabis Inc’s suite of products. Tyler Clarke, former executive director of operations of the company with over five years of leadership experience in cannabis and renewable energy, has been appointed to Vice President of Operations and Seth Wiggins, has been appointed Chief Business Officer and will now focus on new territory expansion both domestically and internationally.

CCI currently licenses The Clear line of cannabis concentrates in nine cannabis legal states: California, Colorado, Michigan, Oklahoma, Massachusetts, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico and Missouri. The company has plans to expand to many additional states and countries in the next 12 months while adding more SKUs to the vape, pre-roll and edible product lines.
